CK-Cosplay

I like to work on art and cosplays in my free time. My free time being a very small window as work takes up a good portion of that. But I do have to say that I love where I work and what I do. I work in a leather store (Tandy Leather) so in the long run it helps with me cosplay (costs)! I'm only now getting the hang of the digital art (haha it's been so many years but I've only really started at the beginning of 2017).

I like going to the local conventions in my area. Vancouver has really grown with its conventions over the years. With about 3-4 large ones and a handful of smaller ones throughout the year. I try to hit up as many of them as I can possibly afford.

My cosplay level has also gone up from "buying and altering" to "completely from scratch". There's still a lot of techniques that I haven't tried but with each new cosplay I'm learning something new. I also have an habit of "biting off more than I can chew" or the "more advanced" cosplays. But what can I say, I like a challenge.

Working with leather is quite fun and honestly, not that challenging. It really steps up your cosplay game and they are going to last a lot longer than vinyl or pleather.
